Q. All On 4 Treatment
All-on-4 dental implants, also known as pro-arch, teeth in one day or full mouth implants, is a method where 4 implant fixtures are placed into each jaw at one go.
All-on-4 implant therapy is a fast and reliable method of treatment designed to install new solid teeth in a toothless mouth.
The name of the method is based on the four artificial roots used to replace a full set of teeth in the upper, lower or both jaw lines, with just four dental titanium implants which are placed precisely at strategic positions at a certain angle,it provides great support for your fixed full bridge. The treatment technique was developed by the Portuguese dentist Paulo Malo in the 1990s and today has already treated hundreds of thousands of patients around the world.
When in comparison with separate implants, All-On-4 Dental Implants are an stellar alternative as fewer implants are used and the procedure is done faster and hence, making it cost-efficient in the long run.
Q. Advantages of All on 4 Treatment
Compared to traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures have a wide variety of benefits.
First, they will never move, shift, or loosen from your mouth. Traditional dentures are held in place by friction, and along with dental adhesive, they can provide a very tight hold. However, they still may slip occasionally.
,This is not the case with implant-supported dentures. Your dentures will be securely anchored to a series of 4 dental implants, which are permanently bonded with your natural jaw tissue. Whether you choose permanent bridges or removable implant-supported dentures, you will never have to worry about your implant-supported dentures moving when you eat, speak, smile, or laugh.
Another benefit of implant-supported dentures is that they actually support and strengthen your jawbone, unlike traditional dentures.
The success rate for prostheses built upon four implants in each arch is the same as the success rate for cases requiring more anchorage
All-On-4treatment allows a patient to choose from a wide variety of approaches to the fabrication of their new smile. The final prosthesis can be made in various grades of laboratory materials from acrylic to fine porcelain, always with the same attention to aesthetic detail, but allowing for the financial investment to suit the patient’s comfort zone. The beauty of this system is that it is upgradeable. Additional implants can be added later and we can fabricate the prosthesis with a higher grade of materials at the patient’s convenience.
Permanent teeth add comfort, confidence, vigor, and vitality to the quality of life. Dental implants using the All-On-4treatment concept are unequivocally the best alternative to limping through life with removable dentures. Besides the priceless psychological benefits of natural-looking teeth, a fixed smile eliminates lifelong visits for the relining of removable dentures as the gum and bone tissue perpetually recedes. It also eliminates the need for an ongoing supply of adhesive products.
Unmatched laboratory technology allows us to create each new smile with extraordinary sensitivity, customization, and detail. Our doctors and laboratory technicians take pride in their ability to build smiles distinctively suited to each face and personality. This premium level of aesthetic care is part of every All-On-4 treatment package.
The surgical procedure for the All-On-4 treatment concept is minimally invasive and can almost always be accomplished simply by using local anesthesia. Our very experienced team of professionals provides comprehensive pre-op and post-op information to ensure that each patient has the most comfortable experience possible in our clinic. Recovery time is brief and gratification is instant. The new smile is placed upon the implants immediately following the surgical procedure.
Q. How do I care for my all on 4 implants?
Since your All-On-4 implant dentures are not removable, you will need to take some special steps to keep them clean and ensure your mouth is not affected by bacterial growth or gum disease, Cosmopolident will inform you on All-On-4 care after you have your implants placed. First, we recommend using a water flosser twice per day. Use your water flosser to blast away food particles from the upper and lower fixed bridge, using a medium or low setting on the water flosser.
In addition, you should floss under the bridge at least once per day. You can use a floss threader or floss normally using your preferred dental floss. Flossing between the bridge and gums will help dislodge food that has not been knocked loose by your water flosser.
